Staffy Days
Terms of Use
The short version: Staffy Days is a journal for you and your dog, not a vet. Your entries belong to you. Journal Pro is a one-off purchase through Apple, with no subscription. Be kind, and ask a vet when in doubt.
1. The agreement
These terms are between you and Paweł Gol ("we", "us"), the developer of Staffy Days. Your licence to use the app is Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the "Apple EULA"). These terms add to it. If the two conflict, the Apple EULA wins. Apple isn't responsible for the app or its support. By using Staffy Days you agree to both.
2. Not veterinary advice
Staffy Days helps you keep a personal record: walks, meals, itch scores, weight, vaccinations, medication and so on. Charts, breed weight ranges, reminders, badges and reports are for information and motivation only. They aren't veterinary advice, diagnosis or treatment. Always ask a qualified vet about your dog's health. In an emergency, call your vet straight away. Don't rely on in-app reminders for critical medication.
3. Your content
Everything you enter (dogs, logs, notes, photos) is yours. It's stored on your device and in your own iCloud, not on our servers (see the Privacy Policy). You're responsible for keeping backups and for what you share from the app, such as vet reports, Pet CVs and sitter cards. Only add photos and other people's details (for example a sitter's or vet's phone number) that you have the right to use.
4. Journal Pro
- Journal Pro is an optional one-off in-app purchase. It isn't a subscription and won't renew.
- It unlocks the extra features described in the app, for example unlimited dogs, the vet & insurance report, Pet CV, skin photo compare and full calm-walk history.
- Payment, refunds and Family Sharing are handled by Apple under the App Store terms. To ask for a refund, use reportaproblem.apple.com.
- Restore it on a new device with Restore purchase on the Journal Pro screen or in Settings.
- Free features stay free. We'll never lock data you've already entered behind a purchase.
5. Changes to the app
We improve Staffy Days over time and may add, change or remove features. If we ever remove a feature you paid for in Journal Pro, we'll try to replace it with something of similar value. Nothing in these terms affects any rights you have to a refund under the App Store terms or the law.
6. Acceptable use
Don't misuse the app: no reverse engineering beyond what the law allows, no interfering with its operation, and no using it to break the law.
7. Liability
We build Staffy Days with care, but we provide it "as is" and can't promise it'll always be error-free or available. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect losses, for lost data you didn't back up, or for decisions about your dog's health made from in-app information. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for Journal Pro. None of this limits your statutory rights as a consumer, or liability that can't be limited by law (such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud).
8. Ending
You can stop using Staffy Days at any time by deleting the app. Settings → Your data → Erase all data removes your journal from this device and from iCloud.
9. Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we'll update this page and the date above. If you keep using the app after a change, you accept the new terms.
